In place of a hotel booking, applicants provide their host’s residential address and details in Bahrain, and in some cases a formal sponsorship or invitation may be required from the host. This visa does not permit any form of paid work. Approval is decided solely by Bahrain’s General Directorate of Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs.
