A Serbia Tourist Visa is a short-stay visa (Visa C), issued by Serbian diplomatic-consular missions under the Law on Foreigners for tourist and private travel. Visa C authorises entry, transit, or a stay in Serbia of up to 90 days within any 180-day period, counting from the date of first entry, and covers tourism as well as other short travel purposes.
Nationals of countries under Serbia’s visa regime must apply before travelling, either in person at a Serbian embassy or consulate, or online through the welcometoserbia.gov.rs portal. Holders of a valid, previously-used multiple-entry Schengen Type C or D visa may, under certain conditions, enter Serbia without a separate Serbian visa for stays of up to 90 days — though this should be confirmed against current Serbian government guidance before travel.
Approval of a Serbia Tourist Visa is determined solely by Serbia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its diplomatic-consular missions. Visa C cannot generally serve as grounds for applying for temporary residence in Serbia.
Eligibility
- Applicant must intend to visit Serbia strictly for tourism or private purposes, without any intention of establishing residence, working, or studying.
