Travellers who do not qualify for visa-free entry, or who need a longer stay, must apply for the standard 9(a) Temporary Visitor’s Visa at a Philippine embassy or consulate before travelling. Eligibility
Visa-free entry for Indian nationals (14 days):
- You are travelling for tourism or business purposes.
- Your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended stay.
- You have confirmed hotel accommodation or booking.
- You can demonstrate proof of financial capacity.
- You hold a return or onward ticket to your next destination.
- You have no derogatory record with the Bureau of Immigration.
Extended visa-free entry for Indian nationals (30 days):
- You meet all of the above conditions.
- You additionally hold a valid, current visa or residence permit from the United States, Japan, Australia, Canada, a Schengen country, Singapore, or the United Kingdom.
Standard 9(a) Temporary Visitor’s Visa (for those who do not qualify for the above, or need a longer stay):
- You are travelling to the Philippines for pleasure, business, or health-related purposes.
- You can demonstrate a bona fide purpose of visit and sufficient financial means.
- You hold a valid passport with at least 6 months’ remaining validity.
