This visa permits business meetings and negotiations but does not authorise active employment or salaried work in Singapore without a formal work pass. Approval is decided solely by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA).

Business Visa Processing Time
Processing time for the Singapore Business Visa generally follows the same 3 to 5 working day estimate as the Social Visit Visa, from submission of a complete application through an authorised visa agent. Because this visa requires clear documentation of the business relationship and purpose of travel, incomplete or vague business invitation letters can extend processing time or result in requests for further information. Applicants should apply at least one month ahead of their planned business trip to account for any potential delays, particularly for time-sensitive meetings or events.
