What is an OCI Card?
OCI stands for Overseas Citizen of India. It provides eligible foreign nationals of Indian origin with a lifelong multiple-entry visa facility for visiting India, subject to applicable Government of India rules.
OCI Cardholders may receive benefits relating to residence, education, employment and property ownership, subject to applicable laws and restrictions.
OCI does not provide Indian citizenship, voting rights, an Indian passport, the right to contest elections, or the right to purchase agricultural land, plantation property or farmhouses.
