What is a Finland Student Visa?
Indian students admitted to a recognized Finnish higher education institution generally need a Residence Permit for Studies (commonly referred to as a Finland Student Visa) if their studies will last more than 90 days. Students attending short-term courses of up to 90 days may require a Schengen Visa (Type C), depending on the course duration and purpose.
The Residence Permit allows eligible students to live in Finland legally for the duration of their approved studies.
